Job summary

House Of Fashion Associates in Manchester is seeking a Head of Design for premium home textiles in bedding and bathroom. The role is hands-on with a small team, driving concept development and collaboration with product, marketing and suppliers across UK and export markets.

You will travel to global trade fairs, source fabrics, and present collections while ensuring timely delivery and alignment with brands' strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Strong CAD skills in AVA, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent drawing and colour sense.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to speak about designs confidently.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and juggle competing demands.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Experience with premium home textiles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of bedding and bathroom ranges for premium markets.
• Manage a small design team and collaborate with Head of Product and directors.
• Source fabrics and oversee supplier visits and samples.
• Present collections to retailers and key customers with confidence.
• Collaborate with Marketing to provide design inspiration for copy.
• Develop CADs for packaging and care labels.
• Contribute to global trade show dressing and showroom presentation.
