Job summary

House Of Fashion Associates is seeking a Head of Design for premium textiles in bedding and bathroom. Based in Manchester with head offices, the role requires hands-on leadership of a small team and close work with product directors to drive profitable growth across trade channels.

You will source fabrics globally, create CAD designs, and present concepts to key customers, while guiding the portfolio for UK and export markets. Travel is expected to support trade shows and showroom appointments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in home textiles with experience in premium home textiles bedlinen and bathroom.
• Hands-on in business and role.
• Strong CAD skills in AVA, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Education at degree level with commercial exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for bedding and bathroom ranges across UK and export markets.
• Manage a small design team and collaborate with Head of Product and Directors.
• Source fabrics and techniques via overseas suppliers and trade fairs.
• Create CADs for packaging, inserts and care labels; dress shows and showrooms.
• Present designs confidently to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Work on brand portfolio and ensure timely delivery per project schedules.
• Travel globally to source materials and showcase at trade fairs.
