Job summary

House Of Fashion Associates seeks a Head of Design for premium textiles in bedding and bathroom. Based in Manchester, you will lead a small team, shape concepts, and work with retailers to convert ideas into samples and collections across the UK and export markets.

You will drive CAD design, fabric sourcing, and collaboration with marketing and product teams, presenting concepts to customers and ensuring timely delivery of high-end projects.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level and proven track record in premium home textiles.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in premium bedding/bath textiles.
• Hands-on designer with strong CAD and presentation ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for bedding and bathroom categories and mentor a small team.
• Collaborate with Head of Product and directors to ensure bulk production efficiency.
• Source fabrics globally and visit suppliers and trade fairs.
• Create CADs for packaging, care labels, and inserts, plus mood boards and presentations.
• Present concepts to customers and manage exclusive designs to briefs and timelines.
• Stay current with design trends and drive a growing, profitable portfolio.
