Job summary

House Of Fashion Associates is recruiting a Head of Design for premium textiles in bedding and bathroom. Based in Manchester, you will lead a small team, drive concept to production, and build a growing product portfolio across key trade channels.

You will work closely with retailers, suppliers and marketing to present exclusive designs, manage CAD development, and ensure on-time delivery while staying ahead of trend cycles and global fashion directions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in home textiles with premium bedding/bath experience.
• Educated to degree level.
• Hands-on in the business and role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small design team and manage hand-on design work.
• Collaborate with retailers (John Lewis, Harrods-like) and directors to ensure bulk production.
• Develop textiles across bedding and bathroom for UK and export markets.
• Create CADs of packaging requirements and care labels.
• Present designs confidently to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Sourcing fabrics and techniques through suppliers and trade fairs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends and production techniques.
