House Of Fashion Associates seeks a Head of Design for premium textiles in bedding and bathroom. Based in Manchester, you will lead a small design team, drive collections, and partner with directors to align on production timelines and budget.

You will source fabrics globally, present CAD-driven concepts, and collaborate with marketing to translate inspiration into product copy. Travel for trade shows and client meetings is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in home textiles, premium bedding and bathroom.
• Educated to degree level and hands-on in business with design focus.
• Experience in a commercial environment, preferably retail or brands.

Responsabilités

• Lead design for bedding and bathroom, managing a small team.
• Collaborate with Head of Product/ directors to ensure bulk production efficiency.
• Source fabrics, visit suppliers overseas, and attend global trade fairs.
• Develop and present CADs for packaging, inserts, and care labels.
• Create compelling bedding and bathroom designs and colourways in CAD.
• Present designs to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Work on UK and export markets with timely delivery across projects.
• Brief suppliers in detail to produce samples to exact specs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new design and textile production techniques.
