We're hiring for an established life sciences consultancy that is seeking a Head of Consulting to join its leadership team. This is a pivotal role for a senior leader with significant experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medtech industries and a proven track record in consulting practice growth. You will be responsible for setting the strategic vision for the consulting practice, expanding client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact solutions to a global client base. This opportunity is ideal for a strategic and commercially-minded problem-solver who excels at converting complex challenges into profitable, long-term engagements while mentoring a diverse and talented team.

What you'll be doing
  • Develop and execute a clear strategic vision for the consulting practice, expanding successful offerings and securing new commercial opportunities aligned with the company's revenue strategy.
  • Manage, mentor, and expand a diverse and talented team of consultants, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and supportive environment.
  • Play an integral role within the leadership team, collaborating with the Head of Sales and CEO to drive new business through thought leadership, proposal development, and project design methodologies.
The experience you'll need
  • Significant tenure in the life sciences industry (at least a decade) and at least 7 years in consulting, with experience across the pharma value chain.
  • Demonstrable experience in growing a team and successfully scaling a consulting practice.
  • A strong commercial acumen and track record of building trusted advisor relationships with key industry figures.
