Head of Admissions

Location: Hampshire

Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience

Contract: Full-time, permanent, year-round

Start Date: April 2026

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Admissions to lead the admissions function within a leading independent girls' school. This pivotal position oversaw all aspects of the admissions journey - from first enquiry through to enrolment - ensuring every family's experience reflects the warmth, professionalism and ethos of the school.

Key responsibilities
  • Providing leadership and direction to a small admissions team
  • Developing and implementing UK and international recruitment strategies
  • Managing relationships with parents, agents and feeder schools
  • Representing the school at events, open days and education fairs in the UK and overseas
  • Overseeing use of CRM systems (Metis / iSAMS) to maintain accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with UKVI regulations for international students
  • Working collaboratively with marketing and senior leadership to achieve recruitment targets
The successful candidate will have
  • Proven experience in school or higher-education admissions
