Job summary

HotelCare is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping department across multiple sites in London. You will supervise room attendants, public area cleaners, and linen porters, ensuring daily operations run smoothly with the highest cleanliness standards and strict health and safety compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication with hotel staff and clients, and the ability to manage budgets, stock levels, and training.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in deputy housekeeping management
• Experience leading a large diverse team
• Experience in a performance-driven environment with KPIs
• Strong Health and Safety compliance experience (COSHH)

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct team members to meet highest service levels.
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are adhered to.
• Collaborate with hotel and HotelCare operations colleagues to deliver objectives.
• Manage supplies, purchasing, and inventory within budget.
• Coach and mentor staff and support recruitment and training.
• Ensure clear communication of roles and responsibilities to all team members.
• Support health & safety meetings and training.
• Oversee quality checks and ensure SLA adherence.
• Maintain client relationships and respond to guest concerns promptly.
