Job summary

HotelCare is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the hotel's housekeeping team across multiple floors, ensuring top standards of cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction.

You will work with the Deputy Head Housekeeper and hotel managers to optimise operations, manage budgets, recruit and mentor staff, and maintain COSHH and health and safety compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in senior housekeeping, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to delivering service level agreements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in housekeeping management.
• Proven leadership skills and team development.
• Experience in health and safety compliance and COSHH.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and direct the housekeeping team to meet service levels.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards across all areas.
• Collaborate with hotel managers to deliver client objectives.
• Manage stock, procurement and budgeting for housekeeping.
• Recruit, onboard and train staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and COSHH.
