Job summary

HotelCare seeks a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team across the site, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, safety compliance, and client satisfaction. You will oversee daily operations, strategise staffing, and maintain constructive relationships with hotel management and clients.

With 3–5 years in a similar role, you will drive performance, conduct quality checks, and support recruitment and training.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership to motivate and manage a large team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Clear communication with clients, staff and hotel management.
• Proven ability to manage time and prioritise tasks.
• High attention to detail ensuring high standards.
• Deep knowledge of health and safety, COSHH regulations, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and direct team to deliver high service levels.
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with hotel and operations teams to meet objectives.
• Manage linen stock, inventory, and budgeted costs.
• Develop staff through recruitment, onboarding and training.
• Conduct quality checks, monitor KPIs and client satisfaction.
• Lead by example, promote teamwork and professional relationships.
