Job summary

HotelCare is seeking a Head Housekeeper to oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department across sites in Leeds. You will lead by example, drive service standards, maintain client relationships, and ensure high quality cleaning and room presentation.

Reporting to the Multisite Head Housekeeper, you will develop staff, manage schedules, training, and performance, control costs, and ensure adherence to health and safety and COSHH regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar or Deputy Housekeeping management role.
• Experience in managing a large diverse team ensuring high standards and operational efficiency.
• Strong experience with Health and Safety compliance, security standards, and legal regulations in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct team to ensure high service levels per contract and standards.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety at all times.
• Collaborate with hotel operations to deliver business objectives.
• Monitor linen stock, inventory, and costs; manage supplies.
• Coach staff and support recruitment and training.
