Job summary

HotelCare is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team across multiple sites, ensuring top cleanliness standards and strict safety compliance. You will develop staff performance, manage budgets, and maintain client satisfaction by delivering consistent results.

You will work closely with Operations and General Managers to optimise processes, recruit and train staff, and implement quality initiatives while upholding the company’s standards and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a large diverse team ensuring high standards and operational efficiency.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Solid knowledge of Health and Safety standards, COSHH regulations, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and direct team members to ensure the highest service levels.
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
• Manage supplies, purchasing, re-ordering, and inventory within budget.
• Lead by example and mentor staff while meeting client expectations and KPIs.
• Oversee health and safety compliance and staff training, including COSHH.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training for the housekeeping department.
