Job summary

HotelCare is recruiting a Head Housekeeper to lead the daily housekeeping operations, ensuring top service levels, safety compliance and client satisfaction across sites. You will work closely with the Deputy Head Housekeeper to drive efficiency, staff development and adherence to SLAs.

Responsibilities include overseeing hygiene standards, COSHH compliance, stock control, training, and cost management while maintaining excellent relationships with hotel management and guests.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a Deputy/Head Housekeeping role.
• Experience managing a large diverse team to high standards.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, and hotel regulations.
• Able to plan, supervise and improve housekeeping operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct team members to ensure the highest service levels.
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are adhered to.
• Collaborate with operations colleagues to deliver objectives.
• Manage linen stock, inventory and purchasing within budget.
• Build positive working relationships with clients, hotel staff and suppliers.
• Communicate effectively with Maintenance to address maintenance issues.
• Oversee training and development to improve staff performance.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and performance reviews.
