Job summary

HotelCare in Leeds is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead and manage the housekeeping team across multisite operations. You will drive cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency, while maintaining excellent client relations and staff development.

The role requires 3–5 years in a similar senior housekeeping role, strong H&S knowledge, and the ability to work flexible hours to meet contract needs. A hands-on leader with a proactive, professional approach is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar or Deputy Housekeeping management role.
• Experience in managing a large diverse team and achieving KPIs.
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety compliance, security standards, and legal regulations in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work different and additional hours as required to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and direct team members to maintain hotel contract standards.
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are met at all times.
• Collaborate with hotel and HotelCare operations to deliver objectives.
• Manage linen stock, costs, and inventory; monitor budgeted requirements.
• Oversee staff training, recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and hotel staff; lead by example.
