Hampton Care Home is a spacious, purpose‑built home in Hampton, providing outstanding nursing, dementia, palliative, and short‑term care for up to 76 residents.

Role Overview

We're looking for a proactive, detail‑focused Head Housekeeper to lead our domestic and laundry teams with pride and purpose.

Previous experience in care or hospitality is ideal, but transferable skills and a can‑do attitude are highly valued.

Your role

As Head Housekeeper, you'll ensure our home is spotless, safe, and welcoming every day.

From fresh bedlinen to gleaming floors, your leadership keeps the home running smoothly and residents comfortable.

You’ll supervise and support a dedicated team, manage rotas and supplies, monitor hygiene standards, and champion infection control.

What you'll be doing

• Leading, supporting, and developing the housekeeping and laundry teams.
• Monitoring cleanliness across the home to maintain high hygiene and infection control standards.
• Ensuring laundry and resident clothing are well cared for.
• Managing rotas, stock levels, and reporting maintenance needs.
• Training, appraising, and mentoring your team to help them grow.
• Creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents.
