Head chef required for a fresh food establishment serving good quality ingredients, 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm, 40 hours, single shifts only. The company really invests in the staff with an extra day off, great training, Salary £40k-45k + service. The culture in this kitchen is very different to many other kitchens PLUS IT IS DAYTIME. As a head chef you will work under the group Exec chef to run the day to day of this kitchen. You will train the chefs in the kitchen, ensure the wellbeing of the other chefs is being looked after & the culture of a safe & supportive environment is within the kitchen. You will ensure the prep is done and the prep lists are written, you will train new starters, ensure each area is ready and ensure a smooth service. It is all day dining with an all day menu. This role will include all the normal head chef duties.
We are looking for a head chef with 2 years experience of kitchen management and 4 years as a chef, from a fresh food kitchen background and able to train and develop new chefs. You will be passionate about good quality ingredients.
