COYA is a luxury lifestyle group with two venues in London (Mayfair and Angel Court) and global venues across the Middle East, Monte Carlo, Mykonos, Barcelona and Marbella. Born from the spirit of adventure, COYA celebrates Latin American culture through delicious Peruvian food, innovative cocktails, music, art and happenings.

We are looking for a Head Bartender who is committed to delivering exceptional customer service in our Latin American venue complete with a restaurant, Pisco bar & lounge.

As Head Bartender you will be a hands‑on leader, who will inspire and motivate a bar team of around eight people. You will be proactive and enthusiastic, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations, overall bar performance, stock management and health and safety under the supervision of the Bar Manager.

We can guarantee you will take charge of one of the best luxury food, drink and live music venues in London. COYA is best known for its lively atmosphere, exotic high‑end signature cocktails and an extensive collection of over 300 different choices for our clientele.

Requirements
  • At least 2 years’ experience managing a team in a fast‑paced, high‑end hospitality venue behind the bar and lounge area, ensuring a smooth service.
  • Welcoming and attending to guests with an exceptional level of care and service, ensuring they leave with a positive and memorable experience.
  • Possess a warm and welcoming persona, with a hands‑on approach to work and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of ingredients and methods for the preparation of cocktails and other beverages.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and train bar and cocktail waiting staff to deliver the highest levels of service.
  • Proceed with the Bar Manager on employee performance – setting targets, performance appraisals and providing feedback, learning and development opportunities.
  • Carry out all opening and closing procedures in line with COYA brand standards.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop a career within an award‑winning restaurant group.
  • High level of spoken and written English.
