Astreya Limited is seeking a Hardware Support Technician I to manage procurement, inventory, asset handling, and distribution of pre-market consumer electronics. You will assist with software and hardware reworks, firmware upgrades, and ticket resolution, often traveling for on-site support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years’ related experience or training, or equivalent.
• IT savvy and interested in new technologies.
• Knowledgeable about inventory in an IT environment.
• Able to follow technical instructions to flash drives and re-write IDs.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Team player with strong collaboration.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability.

Responsabilités

• Assist with inventory and asset management including receipt and disposition of hardware.
• Document defects of pre-mass production hardware and/or software.
• Help perform hardware reworks (board/chip swaps, write-protect screws).
• Help perform software reworks (image devices, wipe data, rewrite IDs).
• Assist with firmware upgrades and flashing devices.
• Assist in resolving support tickets for device issues.
• Provide technical support during events (travel often required).
• Other duties as required; not a comprehensive list.
