Job summary

Grosvenor Facilities Management is seeking a Site Operations Manager to oversee an 11-school contract across multiple sites, including four in the North Yorkshire region. The role requires regular travel, on-call duties, and leadership of site teams to maintain ISO standards and deliver value for clients.

The position involves managing budgets, coordinating contractors, and ensuring high-quality service delivery while maintaining compliance and safety across all locations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contractor teams across multiple sites or contracts.
• Willingness to travel between sites in the region on a regular basis.
• Strong regulatory and quality standards knowledge (ISO 9001/ISO 14001).
• Trade qualifications and hands-on maintenance experience required.
• Ability to lead and develop site maintenance staff and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks.
• Maintain Planet FM system accuracy and currency.
• Conduct quality audits and compliance reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot building systems.
• Lead maintenance staff, conduct reviews, and develop performance plans.
• Coordinate contractors and third-party service providers.
• Draft, manage, and optimise site maintenance budgets.
• Track spending and invoicing; ensure value for money in contracts.
• Ensure statutory and contractual compliance.
• Respond to service user needs and manage site downtime risks.
• Prepare reports per QMS.
• Oversee site team of mobile engineers.
