Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT engineer for a hands-on role within an international technology organisation. You will resolve technical issues, support IT environments remotely and on customer premises, and act as a trusted point of contact for clients.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT engineering, with Cyber Essentials, GDPR security, and strong Microsoft 365/Intune expertise. You will manage incidents, installations and maintenance, ensuring SLAs are met and documentation is

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a similar IT engineering role.
• Mandatory Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards knowledge.
• Strong Microsoft 365, including Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive, and Intune experience.
• Experience with network infrastructure and operating systems (Windows Server, Windows 10/11, Mac).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers and act as a trusted point of contact for support matters.
• Visit customer sites to investigate and resolve technical issues, perform installations and planned maintenance.
• Manage incidents, requests and ongoing technical tasks through the Service Desk system.
• Provide customers with regular updates and ensure tickets are progressed within SLAs.
• Escalate complex issues to Management when appropriate.
• Organise daily workloads and ensure urgent tasks are handled effectively.
• Monitor customer environments to ensure reliability and meet business requirements.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT hardware, software and related systems.
• Document technical work and outstanding actions in tickets.
• Respond to major incidents and priority issues remotely and on-site.
