Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support customer environments across a hands-on role, combining remote support with regular on-site visits in the United Kingdom.

You will manage Microsoft 365 services, Azure, Intune, and network infrastructure, implement Cyber Essentials and GDPR security, and collaborate with external suppliers to maintain secure and compliant systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a relevant IT role with a strong technical background.
• Cyber Essentials and GDPR security implementation.
• Microsoft 365 core services including Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Intune and RMM platforms.
• Network infrastructure including routers, switches, APs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs and firewalls.
• Azure administration and system implementations.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 with Group Policy and security configuration.
• Windows 10/11 and Mac support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers and act as a reliable point of contact.
• Attend customer locations to diagnose faults, carry out repairs and maintenance.
• Manage support incidents and requests through the ticketing system.
• Provide customers with timely updates and ensure service levels are maintained.
• Escalate critical technical problems to Management when appropriate.
• Review workload and priorities daily and take ownership of actions.
• Monitor customer infrastructure to ensure operational requirements are met.
• Deploy, test, maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Document technical work and keep service tickets up to date.
• Take ownership of urgent incidents, remote or on-site.
