Job summary

Emplyfy in Binfield is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support customer environments, combining remote assistance with regular on-site activity. You will work across infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, hardware, software and security, deploying, testing and troubleshooting while documenting work in service tickets.

The role requires at least 5 years in IT, with mandatory Cyber Essentials and GDPR security implementation, Microsoft 365 core services including

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a relevant IT role.
Cyber Essentials and GDPR security implementation (mandatory).
Microsoft 365 core services (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) mandatory.
Intune, RMM platforms and telecommunications systems.
Network infrastructure: routers, switches, APs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls.
Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 with Group Policy and security config.
Azure administration and system implementations.
Windows 10/11 and Mac; client builds, imaging and deployment.
Excellent written and verbal communication with a strong customer-service mindset.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance to customers and act as a reliable point of contact.
Attend customer locations to diagnose faults, carry out repairs and complete maintenance.
Manage support incidents through the ticketing system.
Provide timely updates and maintain service levels.
Escalate critical problems to Management when needed.
Monitor infrastructure to ensure operations align with business needs.
Deploy, test, maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software.
