Cornwall Staff Agency Limited seeks an accomplished General Manager to lead a distinctive coastal hospitality venue on the North Cornwall coast. You will own the operation, drive revenue, manage budgets and KPIs, and lead a dynamic team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while pursuing ambitious commercial targets.

The role requires hands-on leadership across floor, numbers and boardroom discussions, with autonomy to shape the next phase of the business in a thriving coastal location.

• Experience managing a high-turnover hospitality or leisure business
• Excellent understanding of P&L, budgets, KPIs and profitability

Responsibilities

• Taking full ownership of the site's day-to-day operation and commercial performance
• Driving revenue, profitability and sustainable business growth
• Setting and managing budgets, targets and KPIs
• Monitoring P&L performance, labour costs, purchasing and overall cost control
• Leading, developing and motivating a diverse hospitality team
• Managing recruitment, contracts, performance and staffing requirements
• Introducing structure, accountability and clear performance standards
• Ensuring consistently high operational, service and customer experience standards
• Identifying new revenue opportunities across dining, events and the wider operation
• Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, stakeholders and the local community
• Playing a key role in shaping and delivering the next stage of the business strategy
