Job summary

GTG Training Limited, in partnership with Halfords Autocentre Warwick, offers an Apprenticeship as an Auto Technician. You will learn hands-on by inspecting, servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles under the guidance of experienced technicians.

You will gain a recognised qualification while developing practical skills, problem-solving abilities and teamwork in a busy workshop, with progression opportunities across the GTG/Halfords network.

Qualifications

• GCSE Level 5+ in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Interest in building a career in the motor industry.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Learn to inspect, service, diagnose and repair vehicles.

Apprentice Auto Technician Halfords Autocentre Warwick

Join Halfords as an Apprentice Auto Technician and gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification with GTG Training.

About the Role

Based in our Warwick Autocentre, you'll work alongside experienced technicians, learning how to inspect, service, maintain, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles. No two days are the same, with exposure to modern technologies, diagnostics and complex vehicle repairs.

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in building a career in the motor industry.

Working Hours

• 5-day working week
• 40 hours (under 18s) / 44 hours (18+)
• Autocentre opening hours: 8:00am to 6:00pm

Training & Qualifications

You'll work towards:

Training includes workplace safety, vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and electrical systems, supported by dedicated GTG and Halfords mentors.

Entry Requirements

Qualifications

GCSE Level 5 or above or equivalent in Maths and English (or equivalent)
