Job summary

Halfords in Nuneaton is seeking an Apprentice Auto Technician to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification with GTG Training.

You will work at the Nuneaton Autocentre alongside experienced technicians, learning to inspect, service, maintain, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, with exposure to modern diagnostics and repair work. This apprenticeship includes training and progression opportunities with GTG Training.

Qualifications

• GCSE Level 5 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Commitment to completing recognised apprenticeship training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspecting, servicing and maintaining vehicles.
• Learn diagnostics and repair processes from experienced technicians.
• Support workshop operations at the Nuneaton Autocentre.

Join Halfords as an Apprentice Auto Technician and gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification with GTG Training.

About the Role

Based in our Nuneaton Autocentre, you'll work alongside experienced technicians, learning how to inspect, service, maintain, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles. No two days are the same, with exposure to modern technologies, diagnostics and complex vehicle repairs.

Working Hours

• 5-day working week
• 40 hours (under 18s) / 44 hours (18+)
• Autocentre opening hours: 8:00am to 6:00pm

Training & Qualifications

You'll work towards:

Training includes workplace safety, vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and electrical systems, supported by dedicated GTG and Halfords mentors.

Qualifications

GCSE Level 5 or above or equivalent in Maths and English(or equivalent)
