Job summary

Hawksmoor is seeking a Reservationist to be at the heart of guest experience, welcoming guests and managing reservations and waiting lists. This role supports the floor team to ensure warm, generous hospitality from the first hello and requires excellent communication with managers and kitchen staff.

No desk-based tasks—this is a people-first, fast-paced position in a busy restaurant environment. Training is provided to help you thrive and grow with Hawksmoor.

Qualifications

• Naturally friendly and confident with people.
• Experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles is helpful but not essential, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly on arrival and manage seating.
• Handle reservations, walk-ins and waiting lists during service.
• Seat guests and manage restaurant flow to support smooth service.
• Oversee cloakroom and guest arrivals during peak periods.
• Communicate clearly with managers, floor teams and kitchen.
• Support the floor team with setting and resetting tables and assisting service.
• Respond to guest enquiries in person, by phone and email with care.
