Job summary

Hawksmoor is seeking a Reservationist in London to welcome guests, manage reservations and waiting lists, and coordinate seating to ensure smooth service.

You'll work with the floor team to maintain warm hospitality, handle guest enquiries, and support a busy dining room with calm efficiency and clear communication.

This is not a desk-based role. You’ll be a key part of how we deliver warm, generous hospitality from the very first hello.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles is helpful but not essential.
• Ability to manage reservations, guest flow and communicate clearly with teams.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced restaurant environment and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and confidently on arrival.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins and waiting lists during service.
• Seat guests and manage the flow of the restaurant to support smooth service.
• Oversee cloakroom and guest arrivals during busy periods.
• Communicate clearly with managers, floor teams and the kitchen.
• Support the floor team by helping set and reset tables and assist service when needed.
• Handle guest enquiries in person, by phone and email with care and professionalism.
