Job summary

South Norfolk and Broadland Councils are seeking an enthusiastic Leisure Assistant for Long Stratton Leisure Centre. You will act as the first point of contact, delivering friendly, professional service and promoting a positive image of the centre and the Council.

You will handle enquiries, supervise activities, assist with sales, and support events and hospitality. The role requires prior customer-facing experience, IT proficiency, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Ability to use IT tools and systems.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Friendly and approachable attitude in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries at first point of contact.
• Assist with supervising roller-skating sessions and maintain a safe environment.
• Administer First Aid when required.
• Conduct tours for potential members and support membership sales.
• Prepare and serve food and drinks in the café area.
• Support delivery of events and hospitality across the centre.
