Job summary

South Norfolk and Broadland Councils are seeking a proactive Team Leader at Wymondham Leisure Centre to manage daily operations, lead an operational team, and ensure a high standard of service for all users. The role includes acting as a keyholder and assisting the Centre Managers while maintaining safety and quality across facilities.

You will work closely with fitness and front-of-house staff, supervise lifeguard duties when needed, and help deliver a first-class customer experience in a busy

Qualifications

• RLSS/NPLQ National Pool Lifeguard and First Aid qualifications are mandatory.
• Experience in customer service within a leisure environment is preferred.
• Ability to work a seven-day rota including early, day and late shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead an operational team to deliver a high-quality leisure service.
• Oversee day-to-day management of the building, users and staff.
• Ensure the centre is well-presented, fully operational and compliant with health and safety.
• Support Centre Managers and colleagues, including lifeguard duties when required.
