Job summary

Village Hotel is seeking an approachable Leisure Receptionist to greet members and guests, manage bookings, answer queries, and ensure the desk runs smoothly. You’ll be the face of our leisure club, recording details accurately, safeguarding entry, and sharing knowledge about facilities and opening times.

Prior hospitality experience helps, but your energy and customer focus matter most, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a warm, friendly greeting on arrival and ensuring expectations are met at every single opportunity.
• Running the desk efficiently, recording all booking details accurately, and ensuring only bona fide members and guests gain entry to the club.
• Keeping the reception area clean and ready to welcome people, while maintaining impeccable personal presentation at all times.
• Mastering your product knowledge across the whole hotel, assisting with special promotions, and offering great advice on our facilities and opening times.
• Adhering fully to cash handling, security, and emergency procedures, alongside all Health and Safety obligations and Licensing Laws.
