Frasers Group in Birmingham is hiring a Sales and Retention Manager to lead sales initiatives, maximise member retention, and ensure a smooth member journey from first visit.

You’ll train and coach the team, own the club’s activity planner, develop lead-generation strategies, monitor KPIs, and present monthly results to the management team.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing a sales or fitness team.
• Strong sales and retention focus with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and deliver the Fundamentals sales process, training and coaching the team to perform at their best.
• Drive new member sales while maximising retention of existing members to grow the live member movement.
• Own the activity planner for the club – ensuring initiatives are well-planned, executed, and impactful.
• Implement creative lead-generation strategies both internally and externally.
• Monitor dashboards and KPIs, providing insights to the team and ensuring targets are met.
• Drive all revenue lines from memberships, product, and secondary spend to maximise profitability.
• Prepare and deliver monthly sales presentations to the wider management team.
• Build strong local business partnerships and develop opportunities.
• Lead by example on reception and the gym floor in this member-facing role.
• Engage in national initiatives such as #WorkoutWednesday and #WeCommunicate.
• Provide honest, constructive feedback to team members, supporting development and performance.
• Support the General Manager with health & safety, facilities, maintenance, recruitment, and presentation standards.
