Job summary

Everlast Gyms in Preston, part of Frasers Group, seeks a Sales & Retention Manager to lead membership growth, maximise retention, and ensure a seamless member journey from first visit. Reporting to the General Manager, this full‑time leadership role drives sales initiatives, supports the team, and models sales excellence on the floor.

You will own the club activity planner, implement lead generation strategies, monitor dashboards, present to the management team, and build local partnerships.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership with ability to inspire and coach a team.
• Strong sales and retention focus with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Advocating and delivering the FUNDAMENTALS sales process, training and coaching the team.
• Driving new member sales while maximising retention of existing members.
• Owning the activity planner for the club with well-planned initiatives.
• Implementing creative lead-generation strategies internally and externally.
• Monitoring dashboards and KPIs, providing insights and hitting targets.
• Driving revenue from memberships, products, and secondary spend.
• Preparing and delivering monthly sales presentations to the management team.
• Building local business partnerships and #WeMoveBusinesses opportunities.
• Leading by example on reception and the gym floor.
• Engaging in national initiatives such as #WorkoutWednesday and #WeCommunicate.
• Providing constructive feedback for development and performance.
• Supporting the General Manager with operational tasks including health & safety, facilities, recruitment, and standards.
