Howdens Joinery Limited, the UK’s No.1 Trade Kitchen Supplier, is looking for a Business Developer to grow your local depot. You’ll speak to customers face to face and on the phone, build relationships and drive business by turning conversations into opportunities.

Work as part of a busy depot team, generating leads, arranging appointments and keeping the pipeline moving. You’ll collaborate with Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives, benefit from a generous bonus scheme,

Qualifications

• Confident communicator on phone and face to face.
• Strong relationship builder turning conversations into opportunities.
• Commercially minded with a focus on driving sales.
• Self-motivated, proactive and reliable.
• Experience in telesales or account management is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Calling existing trade customers to build long-term relationships and grow future business.
• Using customer data to spot inactivity and bring accounts back on track.
• Managing a targeted customer list and achieving daily call activity levels.
• Keeping up to date with customer projects to identify opportunities to add value and drive repeat business.
• Arranging surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
• Promoting products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
• Supporting administration, including invoicing and general depot tasks.
• Working closely with the wider team to help the depot hit its targets and deliver great service.
