Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an Associate Relationship Manager to support a growth portfolio in the Mid-Market segment across Bristol/South East England. You will assist in delivering tailored banking solutions, including Term Loans and RCFs, while working with an experienced Relationship Director to onboard new-to-bank clients and deepen relationships.

The role is hybrid with two office days per week and requires strong client engagement, credit support, and collaboration with product

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a customer-facing role within Corporate or Commercial banking.
• Experience supporting lending and credit activity, including analysing financial information and contributing to credit proposals or reviews.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Confidence in building and maintaining relationships.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings (virtually or in person), prepare agendas and briefing notes, follow up actions and communicate updates on sector insights, products, clients’ facilities, meetings and events.
• Support the lending journey, help identify high-value clients and spot opportunities to deliver product solutions.
• Use your understanding of financial accounts to support credit proposals, monitor and manage risk and contribute to financial analysis.
• Assist with credit reviews, facility changes and onboarding, including preparing proposals and tender submissions.
• Manage your diary and inbox, prioritise tasks and contribute to process improvements that benefit clients and colleagues.
• Work with internal teams and product partners to deliver tailored solutions and stay informed on sector developments.
