Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an Associate Relationship Manager to support a growth portfolio within the Mid-Market segment (turnover £50m - £500m). You will work alongside a Relationship Director across Southampton/Andover to deliver tailored solutions for clients’ goals.

The role focuses on providing term loans, RCFs, and other banking solutions, supporting an RD in bringing on new-to-bank relationships, and working with introducers and advisors to close opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years' experience in a customer-facing banking role.
• Experience supporting lending and credit activity.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Confidence in building and maintaining relationships.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
• Awareness of risk and how to manage it effectively.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings (virtual or in person), prepare agendas and briefing notes, and communicate updates on sector insights and facilities.
• Support the lending journey, identify high-value clients, and spot opportunities for product solutions.
• Assist with credit reviews, facility changes and onboarding, including proposals and tender submissions.
• Manage diary and inbox, prioritise tasks and contribute to process improvements for clients and colleagues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and product partners to deliver tailored solutions and stay informed on sector developments.
