Job summary

Client in timber products seeks a proactive Business Development Executive to join their growing UK field sales team. Based in Southampton with occasional travel to the Andover HQ, you will generate new opportunities, build relationships and drive growth across the UK.

You will work with an experienced sales team, qualify leads, prepare quotations and manage the sales pipeline using a proven model to convert opportunities into revenue.

Qualifications

• Experience in a business development or sales role.
• Confident making outbound calls and developing leads.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through proactive development and networking.
• Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Manage enquiries, prepare quotations and progress opportunities to completion.
• Develop and grow existing customer accounts and manage the sales pipeline.
