Job summary

Simply Jobsworth in West Midlands is seeking an experienced Timber Sales Manager to lead an internal sales team and drive growth in timber, hardwoods and related products. You will develop sales strategies, manage key accounts, monitor margins and deliver against targets and KPIs in a fast-paced, commercial environment.

Salary £50,000-£60,000 + bonus and benefits, permanent role. Excellent leadership, negotiation and market-analysis skills are essential, with a track record of growing revenue

Qualifications

Experience in timber, builders' merchants or construction products.
Proven track record of achieving sales, revenue and margin targets.
Experience leading a sales team with targets and KPIs.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop an established internal sales team.
Drive sales growth and profitability across timber product range.
Manage and develop key customer relationships.
Identify new business opportunities and market growth areas.
Monitor stock profiles in line with demand.
Analyse sales activity, margins and overall performance.
Produce regular sales reports and market trend analysis.
Support pricing, negotiation and commercial decisions.
Collaborate with senior management on growth strategies.
Ensure targets and KPIs are met.
