Location: Southampton with occasional travel to Andover HQ
Hours: Full Time 8:30am - 5:00pm (Monday - Friday)
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 + Bonus/Commission
Our client is a specialist supplier of premium timber products, supplying customers across the UK for playground, landscaping and outdoor construction projects. The business has built an excellent reputation for quality products, exceptional customer service and long-term customer relationships.
Having grown organically through repeat business, referrals and an excellent reputation within the industry, our client is now looking to appoint its first dedicated Business Development Executive to support the next stage of the company's growth.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and play an important role in expanding our client's customer base. It's a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities and helping to grow sales across the UK. No two days will be the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, meeting customers and being out in the field.
Although this is the first dedicated Business Development Executive role within the business, you'll work closely alongside a sister company, benefiting from the support of an experienced sales team and a proven sales approach that will give you the tools and guidance to help grow the business.
We're looking for someone who is confident picking up the phone, making cold calls and creating new business opportunities from the outset. Outbound calling and prospecting will be the main focus of the role from day one, so you'll need to be proactive, resilient and comfortable starting conversations with potential customers. You'll be commercially minded, motivated by results and excited by the opportunity to build relationships, generate sales and play a significant role in the future growth of an established timber business.
