About Sling

Sling leverages stablecoin and real‑time payments technology to convert between local currencies and digital dollars or euros almost instantaneously for a negligible fee. We’re in 150 countries and the app is available on Android and iOS. Sling is from Avian Labs, Inc., created by product builders and engineers from Monzo, Square, Cash App and Revolut.

About the role

We’re hiring multiple Growth Associate/Managers to establish Sling’s on‑the‑ground presence across key cities in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Indonesia, Malaysia, Poland, Czechia, and the UAE. This is a high‑energy, high‑ownership role that blends strategy, creativity, data analysis, field marketing, and community engagement to test and scale the channels that matter most for our target customers.

You will work closely with product to design campaigns, run on‑the‑ground activations, and build authentic, long‑term relationships in the communities Sling serves. From structured experiments in paid and organic channels to grassroots events and WhatsApp or local community programs, you’ll own growth in your city and turn insights from the field into repeatable growth playbooks.

This isn't just a desk job. It's about being scrappy, testing bold ideas, and building Sling's presence from the ground up. You'll have the freedom to experiment, the autonomy to execute, and the responsibility to make things happen. This is a great role for anyone early in their career with a keen interest in start‑ups and hands‑on growth, who wants to learn how to launch and scale products in the real world.

What you’ll do
  • Identify and engage with our target communities both offline and online, executing creative campaigns that show people the value of Sling
  • Organize hyperlocal events for our target communities to drive awareness of Sling, from freelancer workshops with accountants to university takeovers
  • Develop and execute attention‑grabbing stunts that create buzz and get people talking
  • Conduct field interviews at community hotspots to gather market insights and user feedback
  • Manage WhatsApp communities across keeping users engaged and supported
  • Build partnerships with local organizations, universities, and businesses that can drive user growth
  • Provide local market intelligence to inform product and marketing strategies
What we’re looking for
  • Must be based in the city of interest
  • Fluency in local language, plus professional English proficiency
  • Scrappy and hungry self‑starter with a resourceful mindset and the ability to execute independently
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and turning ideas into action quickly
Nice to have but not required
  • Experience in consumer, fintech, payments, or cross‑border financial services
  • Experience at Tier‑1 fast growing startups, consulting, or investment banking
  • Experience in growth, community management, field marketing, or sales
