Job summary

D. M. Keith is seeking an experienced Group Aftersales Manager to lead dealership Aftersales teams across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. The role focuses on developing people, coaching sites, and embedding best practice to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will work with the leadership team to drive operational excellence, improve customer satisfaction and maximise performance across our growing network of locations.

• Significant Aftersales leadership experience within the automotive sector.
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Excellent coaching and leadership skills.
• Data-driven approach to performance improvement.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and support Aftersales leadership teams across the Group.
• Develop high-performing, engaged and customer-focused departments.
• Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
• Identify training requirements and development opportunities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
• Drive consistency of aftersales processes and standards across all dealerships.
• Support sites in achieving departmental objectives and manufacturer targets.
• Conduct site reviews, operational assessments and performance audits.
• Implement action plans to improve performance.
• Support rollout of new technologies and group initiatives.
• Analyse site performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drive growth in labour sales, gross profit and overall departmental performance.
• Improve workshop productivity and service retention.
• Support improvements in parts sales performance and stock management.
• Help sites maximise booking conversion and diary utilisation.
