Job Overview

QA Higher Education (QAHE), in partnership with Northumbria University London, is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Sessional Graduate Tutors to support teaching across Project Management & Computing programmes.

Support practical, workshop and lab-based teaching across Project Management and Computing modules.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare engaging learning activities and resources
  • Deliver academic and pastoral support through tutorials and 1-to-1 guidance
  • Act as a key point of contact for students, signposting to wider support services
  • Monitor student progress and provide advice on study skills, digital literacy and academic practice
  • Work closely with academic colleagues to support student progression
  • Contribute to programme development and a positive student learning experience
About the role

Qualifications
  • Essential: Master’s degree (or close to completion) in Project Management, Computing or a related discipline. Willingness to pursue doctoral education
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence supporting experiential learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse, international student cohorts
  • Desirable: Experience tutoring or teaching in higher education
  • Experience with workshops, simulations or lab-based delivery
  • Interest in pursuing HEA Fellowship or a longer-term academic career
