A leading engineering firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to manage high-value projects while mentoring junior engineers. This role involves performing site inspections, developing design concepts, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. The ideal candidate will have a recognised degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and extensive experience with numerical analysis. The salary for this role is £56,596 (inclusive of a Specialist Allowance). Onsite working is expected for 3 days each week; flexible working requests are supported. We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a degree in a relevant discipline, capable of taking on high-value work with autonomy and independence. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can review, supervise, and mentor junior engineers, while serving as a technical authority in structural engineering. This role will support UKAEA projects and programmes by defining and delivering Structural Integrity Management frameworks from initial design through to implementation and operation. You will act as the lead engineer and technical reference for all matters related to structural integrity.
