Job description

Our client is an established North West based building contractor who specialise in new build high specification residential schemes.

Theyre looking for a Graduate Site Manager who will work under the senior management team playing a key role in supporting the delivery of projects ranging from £500k - £2m from inception to completion.

Working closely with senior management assisting in coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning, co-ordination and supervision of daily site activities.
  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and health and safety regulations.
  • Support the management of subcontractors and suppliers to maintain efficient site operations.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality standards, and timelines, reporting any issues to senior management.
  • Assist with site documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and daily site reports.
  • Participate in site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and team members.
  • Help implement and promote company policies on health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives on site.
