Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Team, delivering multi-disciplined projects from concept to client hand back. You’ll work in-office or on-site, with a supportive team underpinning your development and progression.

You will gain exposure to design, procurement, construction and commissioning, with opportunities to grow toward Chartered status within a supportive, safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc)
• Valid driving licence
• Confidence, motivation, plus the ability to hand multiple tasks and problem-solve
• Strong organisational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Work within a team to deliver engineering projects from initial concept, through detailed design, procurement and construction to client hand back
• Undertake engineering calculation and utilise digital techniques to produce the design
• Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Suppliers
• Approve Drawings and Designs of Suppliers
• Oversee the activity of Sub-Contractors & Suppliers on Site
• Assist with maintaining our world class safety culture of our critical designs, health & safety documentation, O&M manuals, and commissioning plans.
