Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley in Glasgow is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Team, delivering design and support across multi-discipline projects from concept through to handover, sometimes on-site.

You will work with a supportive team, develop your skills, and progress through our Early Careers Development Programme, with exposure to design, procurement and commissioning across water, energy and environment sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) or MSc.
• Valid driving licence.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-disciplinary projects from concept through detailed design, procurement and construction to client handover.
• Undertake engineering calculations and use digital design tools.
• Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Suppliers.
• Approve drawings and designs of suppliers.
• Oversee the activity of Sub-Contractors & Suppliers on site.
• Support safety culture and maintain O&M manuals and commissioning plans.
