Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Team and support multi-disciplinary projects across water, energy and environment sectors. You’ll work in an office and on-site, delivering designs, commissioning, and hand-back activities with a supportive team helping you progress.

You’ll undertake calculations, liaise with contractors and suppliers, and contribute to keeping safety and quality at the forefront of project delivery as you develop towards

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc).
• Valid driving licence.
• Confidence, motivation, plus the ability to hand multiple tasks and problem-solve.
• Strong organisational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team to deliver engineering projects from initial concept, through detailed design, procurement and construction to client hand back.
• Undertake engineering calculation and utilise digital techniques to produce the design.
• Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Suppliers.
• Approve Drawings and Designs of Suppliers.
• Oversee the activity of Sub-Contractors & Suppliers on Site.
• Assist with maintaining our world class safety culture of our critical designs, health & safety documentation, O&M manuals, and commissioning plans.
