Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Team. You will support multi-disciplinary projects from concept through to handback, work on mechanical design, and collaborate with on-site commissioning teams.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree (BEng) or MSc, a valid driving licence, and strong organizational and analytical skills. A supportive team will help you progress you’re your journey toward Chartered status.

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc).
• Valid driving licence.
• Confidence, motivation, plus the ability to handle multiple tasks and problem-solve.
• Strong organisational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team to deliver engineering projects from initial concept, through detailed design, procurement and construction to client hand back.
• Undertake engineering calculation and utilise digital techniques to produce the design.
• Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Suppliers
• Approve Drawings and Designs of Suppliers
• Oversee the activity of Sub-Contractors & Suppliers on Site
• Assist with maintaining our world class safety culture of our critical designs, health & safety documentation, O&M manuals, and commissioning plans.
