Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley in Bristol is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Team. You’ll contribute to multi-disciplinary projects, work on mechanical design, and support delivery and commissioning on site or in the office.

A structured development programme will help you progress toward Chartered status. You’ll gain hands-on experience across design, procurement, and construction phases, with mentoring and opportunities to expand your skills in a supportive,

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc).
• Valid driving licence.
• Confidence, motivation, plus the ability to handle multiple tasks and problem-solve.
• Strong organisational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team to deliver engineering projects from initial concept through detailed design, procurement and construction to client hand back.
• Undertake engineering calculation and utilise digital techniques to produce the design.
• Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Suppliers.
• Approve Drawings and Designs of Suppliers.
• Oversee the activity of Sub-Contractors & Suppliers on Site.
• Assist with maintaining our world class safety culture of our critical designs, health & safety documentation, O&M manuals, and commissioning plans.
