Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is offering a Graduate Mechanical Engineer role within the Mechanical Team in the UK. You will support multi-disciplinary projects from concept to commissioning, working in the office on mechanical design and on-site during delivery phases with a commissioning engineer.

You will be mentored through our Early Careers programme, gaining hands-on experience and opportunities to progress while contributing to safe, high-quality designs across projects.

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc)
• Valid driving licence
• Confidence, motivation, plus the ability to hand multiple tasks and problem-solve
• Strong organisational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Work within a team to deliver engineering projects from initial concept, through detailed design, procurement and construction to client hand back
• Undertake engineering calculation and utilise digital techniques to produce the design
• Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Suppliers
• Approve Drawings and Designs of Suppliers
• Oversee the activity of Sub-Contractors & Suppliers on Site
• Assist with maintaining our world class safety culture of our critical designs, health & safety documentation, O&M manuals, and commissioning plans.
