Job summary

Arup is seeking graduates for Mechanical Building Services Engineering roles in the UK. You will work on building projects worldwide, driving low energy and low carbon designs from concept through to construction.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team, with support to achieve a professional qualification, including exposure to Revit, IESVE, and other design tools, while developing decarbonisation strategies for diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s or strong Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering.
• Accredited course by IMechE, CIBSE or Engineering Council is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development of mechanical design concepts for low energy and low carbon design.
• Complete design of HVAC systems.
• Use software to analyse and optimise solutions (Revit, IESVE or similar).
• Undertake 3D modelling to develop system designs.
• Prepare reports, site visits and decarbonisation strategies.

Education

Master’s degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Building Services Engineering

Enrolled or completed IMechE, CIBSE or Engineering Council accredited course
